Our Unique Organization

The Franklin County Soil & Water Conservation District is a Not-For-Profit Organization. Proceeds from our fund-raising efforts are used for our educational programs to promote conservation and the wise use of our natural resources. The Franklin County SWCD (Soil and Water Conservation District) is an equal opportunity provider and employer.

We serve a varied audience within Franklin County, and provide services which no other organization provides, such as: road maintenance workshops, erosion and sediment control prevention, outreach on preventing erosion issues, natural resource issues and many other services and projects.

Our most important source of funding is gifts from people like you.
